[edit] About

Hoku Christain Ho was born to musician Don Ho and his wife Patti Swallie on June 10, 1981. She is one of Ho's ten children. During her childhood, she performed numerous times at his concerts around Hawaii. In 1999, while attending college, she signed a recording contract with Geffen Records/Interscope Records. Her debut single, "Another Dumb Blonde" became a Top 40 hit in the US and was followed-up with her self-titled debut album.

Hoku's second single, "How Do I Feel (the Burrito Song)" became another Top 40 hit. She promoted her album on MTV's TRL and Disney's now defunct 4D concert series special. In 2001, she released the theme song to the film, Legally Blonde called "Perfect Day." She left her record company when not approving of becoming a sexed up pop kitten like Britney Spears. Hoku took the years following to get married and start her own indie label, Ola Vista Records. It has been rumored that she has been recording a new album.
