We know her as the sweet little girl from Disney Channel's hit series Lizzie McGuire. She began her singing career with the song Santa Claus which appeared on the soundtrack to the movie Santa Claus 2. From there, she then became known as the only teen pop star to with potential to rival or surpass the popularity of Britney Spears

Hilary Erhard Duff was born on September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas to Bob and Susan Duff. She has a older sister, actress/singer Haylie Duff who was born two and a half years earlier.
At six , she and her sister had been travelling in the Cechetti Ballet but then she decided that she wanted to fulfill her dream of acting.
She started acting on several TV series such as True Woman and The Soul Collector. she also starred on a TV movie Casper Meets Wendy.
Her big break came when she was cast as the lead character in the Disney hit series Lizzie McGuirre in 2000. She also filmed several movies such as Cadet Kelly, The Lizzie McGuirre Movie, Agent Cody Banks, Cheaper by the Dozen, and A Cinderella Story.
In 2002, Hilary began her first step in her singing career with the song Santa Claus Lane. After her commitment to the Lizzie McGuirre's production, Hilary started working on her first album Metamorphosis. The album charted at No.2 on the Billboard 200 on the week of its release.
