About
The album was originally released on March 1957 by Specialty Records. It was reissued on September 19, 2006. The first issue of the album chartered number 13 on the Billboard Pop Album chart. It contains 12 tracks of songs. It features his hit singles, Rip it Up, Ready Teddy and Long Tall Sally.
In 2003, the album was ranked number 50 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
