The album's music work equally well on the slower and mid-tempo ballads as they do on the more upbeat originals and covers. His playing just melts into the overall production perfectly. The rhythm section provides a solid backing, equally comfortable with rock 'n' roll backbeats, shuffling marches or whatever is appropriate.
