Green River is an American Grunge band who rose to fame via their first full-length album, Rehab Doll.

About
Green River was formed in 1984 by "Mark Arm" as the lead vocalist and guitarist, "Steve Turner" as the guitarist, "Alex Vincent" as the drummer and "Jeff Ament" as the bassist. "Stone Gassard" was recruited as their guitarist as Mark will concentrate on vocal. Steve left the group and replaced by, "Bruce Fairweather".
The group debut EP, Came on Down was released in 1985. Their second EP, [Dry is A Bone]] was released in 1986. Their first full-length album, Rehab Doll was released in 1988 after the group was disbanded in October 1987.
