Good Girl Gone Bad was released on June 5, 2007 in the U.S. under Def Jam Recordings. The album hit the no.1 spot on the U.K. and Canada chart. The album was also successful in several countries including Japan, Poland, New Zealand, Spain, Australia etc. The first single in the album Umbrella featuting rapper Jay-Z ranked no.1 in other countries. The song was downloaded 277,000 times in the United States. The second single "Don't Stop the Music" reached no.20 on the U.S. Dance chart. The third single "Shut Up and Drive" hit no.15 on the U.S. Billboard chart.
