God Forbid is a thrash metal and groove metal group formed on 1998 from Brunswick, New Jersey.
The band is composed of five members led by their vocal Byron Davis.

About
God Forbid was formed on 1998 in Brunswick, New Jersey. On 1990's the group toured with such bands like Nile and Candiria and released their debut album Reject the Sickness in 1999 by 9 Volt. They gained critical acclaim after they received heavy request in a local radio station. Soon, they got the attention of Century Media (a major label) to released their second album Determination in 2001.
Their third album came on 2004 entitled Gone Forever. The album increased their visibility in the rock scene and soon gave them a spot on Ozzfest. They soon released their fourth album Constitution of Treason on 2005.
