Jet's debut album made it big in the Aussie charts and slowly creeped its way up to the UK and other countries. Their hit single Are You Gonna Be My Girl was one of the best rock songs of that year.


Get Born is a Rock album by Jet released in Ocotber 7, 2003 under Elektra Records.

The album was recorded at the Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles with Dave Sardy producing their debut. The album was halfway finished when the band was called in to support The Rolling Stones' Aussie tour leg. The album name was derived from Bob Dylan's song Subterranean Homesick Blues from the 1965 album, Bringing It All Back Home.
