Get 2 Know Us is the first Profound Intent EP where LaPret assumed more control than ever taking hand in writing the entire album. The trio said that this would be their last release and it was just to remind fans of the groups' members who would embark on solo ventures (mainly LaPret). Critics say that is totally inaccurate and that group will soon release their first studio album featuring the group, as a duo.

Released on May 2, 2008 under South Capitol Recordings, the title Get 2 Know Us was inspired by the Mizz Redz rap from the single "Street Talk", she says "get to know us, maybe you'll love us". Due to the groups' recent split from original member Devan "Aze" Brockenberry, the use of the number "2" has raised eyebrows. Many believe the title "Get 2 Know Us" is referring to only, Mizz Redz and LaPret, not "Aze".
The EP hit the online stores in the spring of 2008 and no further details regarding chart and sales have been published. The first single "Swerve" will debut on XM Radio in June 2008.
