Garth Brooks or Troyal Garth Brooks in real life was born on February 7, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Troyal Brooks who worked as a draughtsman in an oil company and Colleen Carole who was a Country music singer. In his early childhood, Garth has already been interested in music. He sings in their family gatherings. However, his first love was to be an Athlete. He became a football player and ran track in high school.
Garth graduated with an Advertising degree in 1984 at Oklahoma State University. After he graduated, he became a Country singer. He performed in Oklahoma Clubs in 1986. After he married his College girlfriends, they moved to Nashville. He sent many demo tapes. Finally, in 1988, he signed a recording contract under Capital Records after the management saw Garth's performance at a local club.
Garth self-titled debut album was released in 1988. The album was a big hit with its first single, "Much Too Young" peaking at number 10 at Country charts. After that, Garth has released several hit albums, which made him one an Instant Country Superstar like Kenny Rogers, and Kenny Loggins.
