Fuel is a rock band who rose to fame via their hit album Something Like Human.

Fuel was formed in 1989 by Carl Bell, Jeff Abercrombie, and Brent Scallions at Kenton, Tennessee. They moved to Hawn burg, Pennsylvania in 1994 where they started performing at local bars and nightclubs.
The band released their first LP Porcelain in 1996 and became an instant hit. Their popularity bought the attention of Sony Records which released their debut album, Shimmer in 1998. Their second album Something Like Human which was released in 2000. The album went into double platinum.
Their third album, Natural Selection was released in 2003. Their first compilation album was released in 2005. Brett left the band in 2006. Tommy Stewart joined the band as of April 19, 2007. Tony Green is the new lead singer of the band.
