Free Yourself is the debut album of Fantasia Barrino and sold over 1.7 million copies in U.S. and peaking number eight on the United States album sales chart. The album has been nominated for 20 awards, four of which were Grammy Awards.

The album Free Yourself was released on November 23, 2004, containing 13 tracks. The album had a series of hit singles beginning with I Believe, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Her next single, Truth Is reached number one on the US Adult R&B hits. It sets a record because it stayed at number one on the chart for 14 weeks.
