Food and Liquor was released on September 19, 2006 through Atlantic and 1st and 15th Records. The highly critical acclaimed album debuted at #8 in the Billboard 200 albums chart and at #2 in the Top R&B albums. The album features three singles "Kick, Push", "I Gotcha", and "Daydreamin".
Though it did not received any major certifications, the album was nominated thrice in the 2007 Grammy Awards including the best rap album of the year.
