About

Flutterby was released on February 24, 2004 under A&M Records. In this incredible debut, Butterfly Boucher chose to use a wide range of instruments, from the usual guitars, drums and piano, to vibes, mellotron, banjo, and the uncommon percussion instruments. Butterfly herself played every single instrument in the album except for some guitar, cello, and drums in “Can You See the Lights?”, “Never Let It Go,” and “Soulback.” The same demos she produced and presented to the bosses at A&M Records appear in this debut album.
