Flo Rida is an African-American rapper who gained respect through his debut single Low (with T-Pain) from his 2007 debut album Mail on Sunday.

About

Flo Rida was born under the name Tremar Dillard on December 16, 1979 in Opa-Locka, Florida. He picked the moniker Flo Rida for he's a Floridian. He's a former member of the rap trio called Groundhoggz before he became an MC and toured with 2 Live Crew's Fresh Kid Ice during his teens. He began appearing in mixtapes in 2006 from which the most notable was Bitch I'm from the Dade County from DJ Khaled's album We The Best. In 2007, he was signed to Poe Boy Entertainment and started recording his debut album entitled Mail on Sunday, which is set for a February 2008 release. The album's lead single Low (featuring T-Pain) is currently the most downloadable song on iTunes.
