Fleetwood Mac is an influential and commercially successful Anglo-American band that has had a high turn-over of personnel, and varied levels of success. They rose to fame when they released their album, Mr. Wonderful.

About
The roots of Fleetwood Mac lie in John Mayall's legendary British Blues Band, The Bluesbreakers. One of its members was Bassist John McVie who joined the group in 1963.
In 1966, Eric Clapton, one of the members of The Bluesbrakers left the group. He was replaced by Peter Breur. A year later, Mick Fleetwood joins the band to became their drummer.
In 1967, Peter, John and Mick left The Bluiebrakers. They formed a new band. Bob Brunning became their bass because John McVie has still an existing contract with The Bluebrakers. They had recruite Slide guitarist Jeremy Spencer. They called their group Fleetwood Mac.
In 1968, Fleetwood Mac signed a recording contract under Blue Horizon Records. They added Danny Kirwan to be their guitarist.
In 1969, they left Blue Horizon due to the failure of their first album. They signed a deal with Warner Bros. Warner Bros. began releasing the bands British Records. They released their albums, English Nose and Then Play On.
In 1970, Peter Green left the group. They replaced him with Christine Perfect. In 1971, Jeremy disappeared only to find out that he join the religious cult The Children of God. He was replaced by Bob Welch.
In 1972, after the released of their album, Bare Trees, Danny was fired and was replaced by two guitarist, Bob Weston and Dave Walker. Fleetwood Mac are still performing up to this time.
