Feels Like Home is the perfect title for this one-of-a-kind album of Linda Ronstadt. It features an excellent ballad, High Sierra, Old Carter Family original Lover's Return and a Neil Young classic After the Gold Rush.
There is a story behind this album. Many of the tracks comprised in this album was intended for the sequel of the Trio album collaboration with Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton. Due to label issues and other issues regarding the album, it was put into the shelves for a later release in 1999. However, many of the tracks that was intended for the Trio II album appeared in this album with a slightly different arrangement.
