Fabolous is an African-American Hip-Hop rapper. He became famous after he performed with DJ Clue in 1988.

John Jackson a.k.a Fabolous was born on November 18, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York City. He was one of the first rappers in New York City which includes 50 Cent. He was discovered by DJ Clue. In 2001, the single "Can't Deny It" became an instant hit. Fabolous then released his debut album Ghetto Fabolous. He worked with the Neptunes in this album. Another successful single from this album "Young'n" was also a radio hit.
In 2003, he released his follow up album, Street Dreams. Later that year, he released a holiday album, More Street Dreams, Pt. 2: The Mixtape. The rapper took a break and is expected to release his third fourth album, [[From Nothing To Something]], in late 2006.
In October 2006, he was involved in a shooting incident. He was shot on the leg leaving Justin's P. Diddy's restaurant. The police stopped his SUV and found two loaded guns. He was charged along with three other men of criminal weapon possession leaving him a $15,000 bail and a pending trial.
