[edit] About
Toronto-based band, FM Static formed in 2003 by Trevor McNevan (vocals/guitar) of Thousand Foot Krutch and Steve Augustine (drums). They were later on joined by Justin Smith (bass) and John Bunner (guitar). The band began as McNevan’s side project but they were signed with Tooth & Nail Records in 2003. In the same year, FM Static released their debut album, What Are You Waiting For?, which sold over 60,000 copies. The singles “Definitely Maybe” and “Crazy Mary” were a huge hit. On 2006, the band issued their follow-up album, Critically Ashamed. The band went on the Comatose tour along with Decyfer Down and Skillet. While on tour, they are writing their songs for their third issued, Dear Diary, which will be released later on 2008.

[edit] Reviews
- FM Static has infectious songs. They sing on love, growth and loss. The band writes with humor making their song more light yet sings on teenage trials faced. The honesty of their lyrics is heartfelt and full of passion. --Mimi 09:30, 29 October 2008 (PST)
