About

Brother duos Evan & Jaron was born and raised in Atlanta. They started out performing at local clubs and coffeehouses in 1994. Their regular performances at Kalo's Coffee House has quickly earned them a devoted local fanbase which intensified more when they issued a live album version of that performances in 1995 (Live at Kalo's Coffeehouse). In 1996, they released their second independent album called Not From Concentrate and performed at the Atlanta Olympics the same year. In 1997, they met Jimmy Buffet and offered them a contract for Island Records that issued their first studio album, We've Never Heard Of You Either in 1998. In 2000, the brothers released their second album Evan & Jaron but this time under a new label, Columbia Records. The album became their biggest hit ever and gave them privileges to tour all throughout the year. The touring ceased when Evan started a family as well as their career to wane. In 2004, the brothers made a comeback album Half Dozen, which offered more of a country sound than of their previous releases.

Aside from the music scene, they can be seen regularly on USA Network's Character Road Trip.
