About
Eric Benet was born on October 15, 1966 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Eric formed a vocal group with his sister and cousin. They were called "Benet". They released their self-titled debut album in 1992.
Eric released his solo debut album, True To Myself in 1996. His second album, A Day in The Life was released in 1999 with its first single, "Gorgy Porgy" and it became an instant hit.
