New Yorker, Emmy Rossum is a Dutch and Scot-Irish singer/actress most famously known for her leading roles in the 2004's Phantom of the Opera and The Day After Tomorrow.

About
Born Emmanuelle Grey Rossum on the 12th of September, 1986 in New York City, New York to a corporate photographer mother and a father who works in a bank. Before she was born, her parents got divorved and her mother raised her all by herself.
At the age of 7, she became a member of the Metropolitan Opera Children's Chorus in Lincold Center because of her "perfect intonation". Five years after, she got interested in acting which led her to a rewarding acting career.
At the age of 16, Emmy Rossum landed a role as Christine Daaé in 2004's the Phantom of The Opera where she was offered several record deal and ended up with Geffen Records.
At the age of 21, Emmy Rossum released her debut album Inside Out was released on October 23, 2007.
