Elastica are Alternative Rock Band formed in 1992 and disbanded in 2001. They rose to fame via their album, The Menace.

Elastica was formed in 1992 by "Justine Frischmann" and "Justin Welch". Other line up includes "Annie Holland" and "Donna Matthews". Their first single, "Stutter" was issued in 1993 which landed at #10 on US Modern Rock Singles Chart. In 1994, they released their UK Top Singles, "Line Up" and "Connection". Their first LP self-titled album was released in March 1995. It landed at #1 on The UK Albums Chart. The album spawned the hit singles, "Stutter", and "Connection" which chartered at #17 on The UK Singles Chart. In 2000, they released their album, The Menace. The album reached #24 on The UK Albums Chart and features the single, "Mad Dog Dam" which landed at #44 on The UK Singles Chart.
