From the first album of the famous South London quartet, the 'El Salvador Part 1' single gave Athlete Band the popularity and the opportunity to established their name in the music industry. It was released on March 24, 2003 under Parlophone Records and stayed in the #31 spot of the UK Singles chart for several weeks of the same year. The song is also known for its' surreal music video.
