About

Eighteen Visions started on 1995 in Orange County, California. The line-up of the band is Jimmy (vocals), Sheep and Heavy (guitar), Jagger (bass) and K Flo (drums). In 1999 the band released their debut album, Yesterday Is Time Killed. Followed by Until the Ink Runs Out the next year. The album was a hit success and it made Eighteen Visions a big name in the metalcore scene. The band became busy performing in festivals and concerts. In 2001, Van Huss was replaced by Mick Morris. The band invested in composing songs for the next release, Vanity, which was released in 2002. Schieppati (who was also working with Bleeding Through) officially left the band to fully work with Bleeding Through. In 2004, Obsession was issued. The band garnered a huge amount of sales which won the Album of the Year award. Eighteen Visions toured extensively with other bands lik HiM, Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu and Lostprophet. After the released of 2006’s self-titled album Eighteen Visions announced that they decided to breakup. In April 2007, the band played for the last time together in California.

Reviews

  • Eighteen Visions has an acidic stomp to their compositions. The band’s flair image make them different from the rest of the metalcore bands. The songs that they play are unawaringly addictive. -Mimi 09:10, 25 January 2008 (PST)
