Edwin Mc Cain is an American Rock Singer who rose to fame via the hit album, Honor Among Thieves.

About
Edwin Mc Cain was born on January 20, 1970 at Greenville, South Carolina. During his childhood, Edwin also sang for his church choir. He began singing when he performed in school musicals, before taking up the guitar as a teenager. At the age of 17, Edwin has formed a backing band consisted of "Larry Chaney" on guitar, "Scott Bannevich" on bass, "Dave Harrison" on drums and "Craig Shields" on saxophone.
After releasing a mini-album under his own label, Edwin and his band signed a recording contract under Atlantic Records. He released his first major album, Honor Among Thieves in 1995 which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers album Chart.
His next album, Misguided Roses was released in 1998 which features the hit single, "I'll Be". His next albums, Messenger was released in 1999 and Far From Over in 2001. In 2003, he released The Austin Sessions, a collection of acoustic versions of songs both old and new. His next album, Scream and Whisper was released in 2004.
