About

Dizzy Up the Girl reached certified platinum on December 1998, certified double-platinum on March 1999 and certified triple-platinum on November 1999. This album contains the Goo Goo Dolls popular single Iris. Their influences like Paul Westerberg gave them the distinctive fusion of Alternative and Rock. This record is created beautifully. The songs blend well with Rzeznik's raspy, but melodic voice. A well deserved bittersweet success for the Goos.
