Dionne Farris is an American Alternative Hip-Hop Singer who rose to fame via her hit single, "I Know".

Dionne Farris was born on 1969 at Bordentown, New Jersey. Her career started when she used to performed at her school choir in New Jersey. She was also the lead role in their school Production, "Annie". She also performed in Manhattan's Clun Circuit as a solo artist and with the group, Onyx. In 1990, she relocated in Atlanta to be with her dad. She became an extension member of the band called, Arrested Development. She was behind the hit single of the group entitled, "Tennessess". After that the record company of the group has groom Dionne into solo. Her debut album, Wild Seed - White Flower was released in 1995 under Columbia Records. The album landed at #3 on The US Heatseekers and features the hit singles, "I Know" which chartered at #4 on The Billboard Hot 100 and "Hopeless".
