David Gray is an English singer-songwriter who rose to fame when he released his fourth studio album, White Ladder.

About
David Gray was born on June 13, 1968 at Sale, England. His family moved at Wales when he was nine years old. Later, he went to North-west where he studied at University of Liverpool. His musical career started when he was introduced by comic playwright, Pat Ingoldsby in Ireland.
After releasing three minor hit albums, his milestone in music started when he released his fourth album in 1998. It was a major hit not only in United States but in also some parts of other countries. The album also includes his hit singles, "This Year Love", "Baby Love" and his most popular single worldwide, "Please Forgice Me". It is the biggest-selling album in Ireland. On 2002, he released another major hit album, A New Day at Midnight. His latest album, Life in Slow Motion was released in 2005, which also scored a major hit.
