David Bowie is an English Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actor, producer, arranger and audio engineer who rose to fame when he released his album, Aladdin Sane.

David Bowie was born on January 8, 1947 at Brixton, London. He was raised in a small town of Bromley. He attended high school at Bromley Technical School in Keston, Bromley. He was discovered as a singer when he was seen performing once at club in London. He also joined various blues groups such as, The King Bees, The Mannish Boys and The Lower Third.
In 1967, David released his self-titled debut album under Deram records. He also released his singles, The Laughing Gnome and The Gospel According To Tony Day. In 1969, he released his hit single, Space Oddity. In 1972, he released his second album, Man of Words, Man of Music but when it was re-released it is called, Space Oddity.
In 1972, he released his album, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and Spiders From Mars. The two albums was a successed. The successed of his album made David an instant superstar. In 1973, he released his first number 1 album in UK, Aladdin Sane. In the album, it includes the singles, The Jean Genie and Drive-In Saturday and Let's Spend the Night Together. David released his first compilation album, Pin-Ups in 1973 reaching number 3 at Billboard charts.
In 1974, he released his album, Diamond DoGS. The album includes his hit singles, Rebel Rebel and Diamond Dogs. The album reached number 5 at US charts. David has released more than 20 albums including compilation and live albums.
In 2003, David was named as the second-richest entertainer in U.K. Later that year, David released his new album, Reality. David is also an award-winning entertainer. In 2001, David appeared as himself at the movie Zoolander. His voice was also used in the cartoon movie, Arthur and The Invisibles.
