Dave Barnes is an R&B singer from Mississippi. His debut album Brother, Bring The Sun became a big hit with the singles Grace's Amazing Hands", "Until You", "On A Night Like This" and "Crazyboutya".

About
Dave Barnes (David Barnes) was born on June 20, 1978 in North Carolina. They moved to Kosciusko, Mississippi and when Dave was 6, they relocate to Wiscogee, Tennessee. Son of a pastor and the oldest of three children. He began writing and playing the tamborine in high school. He wrote for a Christian band in their town called Fishers of Man. He started performing his own songs at Lee University and universities nearby. In 2002, Dave released an independent album, Three, Then Four. Dave started to go on tour and promoted his songs through the net. He quickly gained fans.
It was when Dave met Ed Cash and encouraged him to record a studio album. In 2004, he came up with Brother, Bring The Sun. He released the album independently and got great reviews. In 2006, he released Chasing Mississippi. It gained another great feedback. Later that year he went on tour with best friend, Matt Wertz. In 2008, Me and You and the World was released under Razor and Tie Records.
