About
Dan Hill or " Daniel Hill Jr." in real life was born on June 3, 1954 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada to "Daniel G. Hill", a social scientist and public servand. He is also the brother of "Lawrence Hill", a famous author. At the age of 14, Dan already began to composed a songs. He performed usually at a small gatherings and coffee houses. Dan became famous when he released his album, Longer Fuse in 1977 which features his international hit single, "Sometimes When We Touch". Another famous hit singles he wrote was, "It's A Long Road" which was featured in the movie First Blood. In 1987, he released another hit single, "Can't We Try" which reached the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and another Top 40 hit, "Never Thought (That I Could Love)". So far, Dan has released 8 studio albums including, If Dreams Had Wings in 1980, Partial Surrender in 1981, Love in the Shadows in 1983, Real Love, in 1989, Dance of Love in 1991 and I'm Doing Fine in 1996.
