Damn Yankees were formed in 1989 which comprised of "Tommy Shaw", "Jack Blades", "Ted Nugent" and "Michael Cartellone". In 1990, their self-titled debut album was released. The album chartered at #13 on U.S. Billboard 200 Albums Chart. The album went double-platinum. It spawned the hit singles, "Coming of Age", "Come Again" and "High Enough". Their next album, Don't Thread was issued in 1992. It features the singles, "Don't Thread" and "Mister Please". The album went platinum. The band was disbanded in 1993. The members went solo and other became a member of Shaw Blades.
