[edit] About

Hip-hop group D12 short for Dirty Dozen includes rappers Eminem, Bizarre, Swift, Kuniva, Proof and Kon Artis. In 1990, rappers Proof and Bizarre formed the band and later on added Proof who also brought Eminem. Peter S. Bizarre was a former member of the Outsidaz (who Eminem and Rah Digga were also members). Kon Artis is the producer of D12. Proof was famous for his freestyle talents. He died in April 11, 2006. Proof was a victim of a gunfire on Eight Mile Road in Detroit. The accident made D12 stronger and carried on the legacy of Kon Artis.

In 2001, the group released their debut album, Devil’s Night, under Interscrope Records. There were some fears that the single might receive some bad criticism due to the controversial single “Shit on You”. After a three-year hiatus the twelve released their follow-up album, D12 World.

[edit] Reviews

All rappers talk about are gangs, money and girls. D12 on the other hand offers a brilliant and witty vibe to their music. They are a wiz at adding humor into their rap music which receives a huge amount of airplay. -Mimi 07:30, 26 September 2007 (PST)
