Crystal Castles is an Electronic duo known for collaborating remixes for different groups and known for their heavy use of samples and distorted female vocals.

Electronic punk band Crystal Castles formed in 2003 in Toronto, Florida. Ethan Kath (instruments/production) met Alice Glass (vocals) and began writing music together in 2005. The single “Alice Practice” which was originally used to test a microphone caught the attention of Merok Records. The release of “Alice Practice” in MySpace sold 500 copies in 3 days. For 2006 and 2007, the duo went on an extensive tour all over the globe and performed in the Glastonbury Festival the following year. It was followed by the release of their self-titled debut album under Last Gang Records.
