About
Before this talented man ever entered the music industry, he was the average kid in Kingston Springs, Tennessee. He became an Emergency Medical Technician at the early age of 18. Not long after, Morgan joined the Army and was headed and stationed at Korea. During his stay there, he wrote a couple of songs and even won several singing and songwriting contests there.
When he returned from Korea, his father took him to record demo tapes of his songs. He was hired to sing demos of other singers and songwriters and this became his source of income. While he was not the Craig Morgan known today, he was once a construction worker, a sheriff's deputy and a Wal-Mart employee.
The demo tapes he recorded was his ticket to his career in music. He was signed with Atlantic in 2000. It was in the same year that he released his debut album entitled Craig Morgan. Though his songs from this album did not ricochet to the top of the charts, his second album I Love It, had 4 chart toppers including his chartbusting hit "Almost Home".
His third album, My Kind Of Lovin' was released in 2005 with chartopping single "That's What I Love About Sunday" which peaked at No. 1 of the US Country Charts. "Redneck Yacht Club", also from the same album, settled at No. 2.
His latest release was in 2006, his album entitled Little Bit Of Life contains single with the same title and current hit "Tough".
With a proven strength in the music scene and life in general, this Tennessee native will definitely give us more country music in the years to come.
