Cormega is an American rapper who rose to fame via his hit album, The Realness.

About

Cormega or Cory McKay in real life was born on April 27, 1973 at Bedford-Stuyvesant and raised in Long Island City, Queens. His mother was murdered when he was only 4 years old. In his teen years, Cormega was jailed.

When he was released from prison in 1995, he was featured on Hot Day's album, It's My Turn. Cormega released his debut album, The Realness in 2001. His follow up album, The True Meaning and Legal Hustle were a hit. He released his shelved album, [The Testament]] in 2005 under his own label. He is currently doing his upcoming self-titled album.
