Undoubtedly, one of the famous Hip-Hop artist nowadays, Common was a highly influential figure in rap who rose to fame via his hit single, Take It EZ.

About
Common or Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr. in real life was born on March 13, 1972 at the South Side of Chicago. He started his career with the name Common Sense. He won The Source Magazine's Unsigned Hype contest.
His first single, "Take It EZ" was released in 1992, which appeared in his debut album, Can I Borrow A Dollar. He signed a recording contract under Ruthless Records and released his follow up album, Resurrection. After the released, he changed his name to Common. He also moved to Brooklyn.
His first album One Day It'll All Make Sense with his new name was released in 1997. After he became popular, he signed a recording contract with one of the major label in United States, which is MCA Records.
He released his album, Like Water For Chocolate in 2000. The album was a major hit. His follow up album was also an instant hit. Common is currently recording his new album.

Common makes words flow like it's the easiest thing to do. The way he forms them is unbelievable, he makes you really realize that rap and poetry are two very different types of word forming, he also makes it fun to be different in the way you dress, think ,and act.
