About

Collin Harper, or more popularly known as Collie Buddz, was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1981. Since the age of 6, Collie was immersed in the Sound System Culture of Bermuda also known as "The Rock". He was identified as dancehall like the dancehall kings namely, Buju Banton, Bounty Killer and Beenie Man At the age of 16, he already started composing his own songs.

In 2006, Collie signed a recording contract under Sony BMG and his self-titled debut album was released last July 3, 2007 which also features his first single, "Come Around". The video of his single is the #1 Reggae song in Canada. After more than a year he released his second single, "Mamacita" last August, 2007.
