About

The album was released on July 24, 2006, and features Gilberto’s biggest hits since she first started her singing career in 1963 with the song that carried her name to the top of the charts then, “The Girl From Ipanema.”

The first track is no less than “The Girl From Ipanema,” sang with the same old voice and warmth. The album also contains “Windy,” a track that’s more upbeat compared to the rest. In “Fly Me to the Moon,” she does another one of her signature unique interpretations of American music, making it her own. The 24 tracks in this album from the renowned Jazz artist are definitely entertaining and worth listening.
