Chuck Mangione is International Popular American flugelhorn player, composer, and singer who rose to fame via his hit album, Feels So Good.

About
Chuck Mangione or "Charles Frank Mangione" in real life was born on November 29, 1940 at Rochester, New York. His formal introduction to music began with piano lessons at age eight. Two years later he began trumpet lessons. Chuck first attracted attention with his brother, "Gap Mangione" in a mainstream jazz band, "The Jazz Brothers". However he left the duo from 1958 to 1963 to studied in the Eastman School of Music.
After studying, Chuck left home to performed with "Art Blakey" and "The Jazz Messngers". Chuck returned in the Eastman School of Music to served as director of the school's Jazz Ensemble from 1968 to 1972. In 1970, he recorded an album entitled Friends and Love with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Shortly after Friends And Love came two more concepts: "Freddie's Walkin'" and "Together". The latter concert was recorded live with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
Om 1973, he released the album, Land of Make Believe with "The Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra. The album received Grammy nominations for Best Big Band Performance and Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying a Vocalist. In 1977, he released his mega-hit album, Feels So Good which chartered at #1 on The Jazz Album Chart. It was a certified platinum. His next album, Children of Sanchez was released in 1978. The album won him his second Grammy Award.
During the late 1970's, Chuck received more awards and accolades for his recordings. In 1980 maximum impact was achieved in front of an "intimate" television of several hundred million when Chuck's "Give It All You Got" was heard around the world as the theme of the Winter Olympics in Lake Placid which he performed live at the closing ceremonies. His next live album, The Boys From Rochester was released in 1989. He released two albums, The Feelings Back and Everything For Love under Chesky Records.
