Chris Rock is an actor,producer, director, editor, singer and has been in the stand up comedy for 12 years. He also does commercials for Nike and covered the presidential campaign for the show "Politically Incorrect".

Comedian, Chris Rock, was born on February 7, 1966 in Andrews, South Carolina. Son of a Julius a truck driver and Rose a teacher. At an early age, the Rock family moved to Brooklyn, New York. He went to an all-whit public school where he experienced discrimination. Racism plays a big part in Chris' comedic career. When he was 18 years old, Eddie Murphy saw potential in Chris when he was performing at New York's Comedy Strip. In 1987, he debuted with a small role at Beverly Hills Cop II. It was shortly followed with Keenan Wayan's I'm Gonna Get You Sucka the following year. In 1990, he joined in the cast of Saturday Night Live which gained him popularity.
In 1991, Chris released, Born Suspect, a comedic album. He stayed with SNL for three season then later on appeared in the show, Livin Color, in Fox but was later on cancelled. In 1996, was the start of Chris Rock's booming career when he was offered by HBO to do a special comedy called Bring in the Pain. It won him two Emmy Awards. The following year he starred in his very own show, The Chris Rock Show. At this time, Rock release his follow-up, Roll with the New. He appeared on several films like, Beverly Hills Ninja (1997), Lethal Weapon 4 (1998), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Bad Company (2002) and Madagascar (2005). In 2004, he issued Never Scared. In 2005, Rock has a show inspired by his teenage years called Everybody Hates Chris.
