Country music artist Chris Cagle is most remembered for his number one hit I Breathe In, I Breathe Out. Since the year 2000, he has released four albums and ten hit singles. In 2006, he was named one of the sexiest male country artists.

About

Chris Cagle was born on November 10, 1968 and grew up in Texas. He started guitar lessons at age of six but switched to piano up to high school. In his senior year, he received an Ovation acoustic guitar so he picked up guitar lessons again. Chris attended the University of Texas for a few semesters but dropped out to move to Nashville in 1994 to pursue a singing career.

Music Career

In 2000, he struck a gold mine when he met ‘’Donna Duarte’’ the assistant of ‘’Scott Hendricks’’ the president of Virgin Records Nashville. Soon he released his debut album Play It Loud. In 2003 he released a self-titled sophomore album and in 2006 he released his third album Anywhere But Here.

Overcoming Sickness

Early 2004, Chris was diagnosed with a polyp, a lesion, a cyst and a granuloma in his vocal cords. He was ordered vocal rest for sixty days, though it was reported that he did not sing for almost three months after the diagnosis.

Marital Crisis

Chris' lovelife has also been of much fascination as the music that he creates. In 2001, Chris tied the knot but the marriage was divorced a short while later. Chris later on released a statement that he is not the biological father of his ex-girlfriend's child.

  • Chris was initiated by the Phi Delta Theta fraternity- Missouri Theta chapter at Northwest Missouri State University in 2005.
  • Cagle is almost always seen in a a cowboy hat or a baseball cap.
