About
Chokebore was formed in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1990. Original members were composed of "Jonathan Kroll" for guitar, "Christian Madrigal Izzo" for drum, "Troy Von Balthazar" as the lead guitar and "Frank G" for bass. After the line up completed, they moved in Los Angeles to perform some gigs. They signed a recording contract under Amphetamine Records in 1993.
The band released their debut single, "Nobody" and their first studio album, Motionless in 1993. Other studio album like Anything Near Water and A Taste For Bitters was also released. Black Black was released in 1998. They released their last album, It's A Miracle in 2002.
