Cherish’s first entrance to the music scene in 2003 with their first single Miss P produced by Jermaine Dupri was not successful. Back with a vengeance, Cherish released their debut album Unappreciated in 2006. The album was a certified gold and debuted at number 4 in the Billboard 200 selling 91, 000 copies in its first week alone.

Cherish is composed of four sisters: 23 year-old Farrah King, 21 year-old Neosha King, and 19 year-old twins Felisha and Fallon King, 19. The quartet grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and began singing when they were just between two and six years old. By the time the girls were between the ages of seven and eleven, they were singing professionally.
In 2003, Cherish released their debut single Miss P and was even featured in Da Brat's song I'm In Love. They were supposed to release their original first album The Moment with Warner Bros., imprint Ashanti Records but for some reason it never pushed through.
In the summer of 2006, Cherish released another single Do It to It which became a resounding success. Following through, they released their debut album entitled Unappreciated and released a Snap Dance instructional video over the Internet.
