About

She started writing her own songs at the age of 19 years old. Chantal went to the University of Manitoba. In 1994, Chantal was in an accident that broke her leg and shattered her jaws. The motor accident resulted to her debut album, Under These Rocks and Stones.

In 1998, Chantal released the hit single, “Leaving On A Jet Plane”. The single was included in the film Armageddon. It was an appearance on the Late Night With Conan O’Brian where she got the recognition she deserved. In 1999, her follow-up album, Colour Moving And Still, was a success.
