Chamillionaire is an American, entrepreneur and award winning rapper. He was a former member of the group The Color Changin' Click. He rose to fame when he released his first solo album, The Sound of Revenge.

About
Chamillionaire whose real name is Hakeem Seriki was born on November 28, 1979 in Washington D.C., At the age of 4, his family moved to Houston, Texas. When Chamillionaire's parents were separated during his teenage years, he went to Acres Homes in North West Houston. There, he began to love rap music, especially the songs of The Geto Boys, 8 Ball, MJG and UGK. He also began to compose songs.
He started his music career as part of a gospel rap group called, The Sleepwalkers with Paul Wall and Teray "PKT" Green. They used to perform at youth festivals and church gatherings. One day, when Paul and Chamillionaire were in Texas, they went to Michael 5000 Watts, a popular mixtape DJ. They showed him their demo tapes. The duo became regular on Houston's mixtape circuits and became popular in the streets. They became regular members of a mixtape group called Swishahouse.
After which, Paul and Chamillionaire left the group and formed their own mixtape group which they called The Color Changin' Click. They released one album, Get Ya Mind, under Full Records which sold over 100,000 copies. When the duo started to work on their second album, Chamillionaire and Paul had so called indifferences and the two decided to go solo. Chamillionaire released his first solo album, The Sound of Revenge under Universal Records in 2006. He is set to release his next album, Ultimate Victory on Spring 2007.
