Industrial Future Music is a genre of electronic music also known as Electropunk, Die Musik der Futurismus, Die Futurismus Avantgarde, Post Avante Garde-ism, Die Avantgarde der ElectroRock-Musik) that was coined by Nico. An extension of the Kraftwerk ideal of electronic music that emphasizes a near robotic precision of rhythm and melody using synthesizers, drum machines, hyperrealism, and voice modulations. Also a sister genre of punk rock and Neue Deutsche Welle (New German Wave). Former Kraftwerk member Wolfgang Flur cites Yamomusic as not "Industrielle Volksmuzik", but rather a sort of scented sonic sculpture that one would find emanating from the walls of a Continental European cafes..." Also known through its relationship as a subgenre of Computer Music and popular with Kraftwerk, Daft Punk, Kavinsky, Dopplereffekt, Commodore 64 Orchestra, Euro Lipstick, N.E.R.D. D.A.N.C.E. 000000000001 or 11:01, Dance Clash, Jiropole, KN9d.
