Carmen Rasmusen is one of Final 12 Contestant of American Idol. She issued her debut album, Nothin' Like The Summer in 2007.

Carmen Rasmusen is born on March 25, 1985 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to "Carl Rasmusen" and "Michelle Rasmusen". She has performed in public since the age of 5. At the age of 6, Carmen began to play piano. At an early age, Carmen took up dance and piano lessons. At the age of 13, she took up singing lessons. She graduated in Crss High School in 2003.
After graduating, she auditioned for the third season of American Idol. Luckily, she was one of the contestants who went to elimination round in Hollywood. However, she was not chosen by the judges during the Top 100 stage. Surprisingly, American Idol had a Wild Card show which she and other young female singers has won. She became on the Final 12 contestant. She finished sixth placed.
After the proper contest, Carmen became a movie star. She appeared in the movie "Pride and Prejudice". In 2004, she released her first EP "Carmen". Carmen signed a recording contract under Lofton Creek Records in 2007. She released her first studio album, [[Nothin' Like The Summer in August 2007.

- In December 15, 2005, she married Brad Herbert in Bountiful, UT. Brad is the son of the Lt. Governor of Utah.
