Capital Punishment is the debut album of Big Punisher. This is the only album released while Big Pun was still alive since his second album Yeeeah Baby was released only after he died of a fatal heart attack on 2000.

About
Capital Punishment was released on April 28, 1998 by Loud and Relativity Records. The album was regarded by fans and critics as is finest work ever as it debuted at #5 in the Billboard 200 albums chart and reaching platinum sales mark, the first for a solo Latino rapper. The album was also nominated for a Grammy as Best Rap Album of 1999.
Three singles were released for the album "I'm Not A Player", "Still Not A Player", "Twinz (Deep Cover 98)" and "You Came Up".
